If you are interested in flying abroad to pursue higher education and become a global citizen, then you have arrived at the right place. To know more about basic eligibility prerequisites for being able to apply for study visa of each country are as follows:
Canada Study Visa
IELTS or TOEFL or PTE language test scores are required for Canada Study Visa application. To have a strong file, your Academic IELTS score should be overall 6.5 bands with no band less than 6.0 in each module.
Obtaining an admission from a reputed college or university of Canada is of utmost importance to enhance the chances of Study Visa approval. There are about 1300 DLIs (Designated learning Institutions in Canada, but only about 150 DLIs are reputed ones. At Enaaya Consulting, we strive our best to not only get you an offer letter, but to get an offer letter from a reputed DLI.
It is always favourable in terms of visa approval, if you get admission for a two years course instead of a one year course.
Paying first year tuition fee and paying one year GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate) offers a greater probability of your study visa approval.
The selection of your course and university should have relevancy with the previous studies or work experience.
There are three intakes in a year in Canada: Fall (September), Winter (January) and Summer (May).
We would advise you to apply well in advance because admissions get difficult when you apply closer to the deadline, especially when it comes to Canadian colleges and universities. It is always feasible to apply 6 to 9 months before the academic session start.
You should have at least 50% marks in your post secondary education.
The student should not have more than 10 backlogs in his/her graduation period.
The graduation degree has to be completed within the stipulated time with no gaps year. If there is gap, it has to be justified with a suitable explanation.
If there is GAP of more than one year after studies, you should show whatever work experience you have obtained after your previous studies.
If you’d like to get a part-time job to help support yourself while studying in Canada, you can now qualify to work on or off-campus for up to 20 hours during university semesters and full-time during breaks such as the winter or summer holidays, without the need for a work permit.
You will also get Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) of up to three years after you complete your studies in Canada.
Once you complete one year of Canadian Work Experience on your PGWP under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3; you will be able to apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class through Express Entry.
Canada study permit fee is $150 CAD and Biometrics fee is $85 CAD

2. J1 Exchange Visitor Visa:
The J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa is for students, visiting scholars or lecturers pursuing an exchange program. For example, Fulbright scholars and many students on short-term study abroad programs from Indian universities will travel to the U.S. on a J-1 visa.
3. M-1 Vocational/ Non-Academic Student Visa:
The M1 visa is a type of student visa which is reserved for vocational and technical schools. While the process for applying to the F1 visa and M-1 is similar, the difference is that on entering, the M1 visas are time-stamped and students cannot overstay their visit.
The most important aspect of US study visa application is Visa Interview that happens in person between Visa officer and Student. The fate of students depends on how well they are performing at interview and how well could they communicate with Visa officer and convince the officer.
The admission letter given by US universities to the student is called I-20 form.
There are two fees associated with for F1 student visa for the USA; SEVIS fee which is at present at $350 and Visa Application Fee (MRV Fee) which is at present $160.
There are three intakes in a year in US universities: Fall (September), Spring (January) and Summer (May).
All F1 visa holders are eligible to work part time up to 20 hours per week.
After graduation, all F1 visa holders are eligible for up to 12 months of OPT (optional practical training). That means you can work for a year after you finish your studies.
The student can apply for a dependent visa of spouse and children (F2 visas). Only thing to take care is that the student and dependent should show sufficient funds to support the family in US as the dependent F2 visa holder is not permitted to work in USA.

UK Study Visa
The previous Tier 4 (General) Student Visa has been replaced with the so-called “Student Route”. The Student Route is the UK’s new Student Visa which is Points Based System (PBS) where you have to get 70 points to get Visa. Those who get 70 points will get a UK study for sure.
Breakdown of 70 points is as follows:
You will obtain 50 points for the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) sent to you by the University.
You will obtain 10 points for the financial requirements which will show that you have sufficient money to cover your course fees and living expenses.
You will obtain 10 points for your English language qualifications. If we have used a local equivalent qualification to assess your English ability in all four components, you will be required to undertake a short interview with the University.
The student can bring the dependent along.
The student is allowed work for part time while studying.
Those graduating from a British educational institution will be able to apply for the Post Study Work Visa (PSW) allowing them to work/look for work in the UK for up to 2 years.
Gap of up to 10 years is accepted to apply for UK study visa.
There are mainly two intakes for UK; Fall (September) and Winter (January).
Compared to the initial expense that it takes to study in Canada and Australia, it is budget friendly to apply for UK study visa.
English language test result is a must to apply for Australia Study Visa. Most of the students now-a-days are attempting PTE exam. However, IELTS and TOEFL are also accepted by all the Australian Universities. The minimum score required is overall 6.5 in IELTS with 6.0 in Writing module; or overall 60 in PTE with 54 in Writing module.
Gap of up to 5 years is accepted by Australian Universities.
In order to have fair chance of Visa approval, you should get admission offer from AL-1 (Assessment Level - 1) universities or colleges of Australia.
The Student visa (subclass 500) visa allows you to live, work and study in Australia for a maximum of five years, in line with your course.
Budget required to get Australian Study Visa for masters would be INR15 lakhs per year.
There are three intakes for Australia; February (main intake), July and November.
On this visa, you are normally allowed to work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight during term time and unlimited hours during study breaks.
Dependent can accompany easily along with the student.
A student visa could also help you get ready for a post-study work visa (Visa subclass 485).
There is a chance to become PR in future in Australia under one of the other regional nomination.
